Anti Slavery Event Success

CCAT’s latest Anti Slavery Day gig was hosted at Matthew’s Yard in Croydon on Thursday 16th October 2014.  The night was enjoyed by a packed audience of local music lovers, who were treated to performances from several talented acts singing in support of the national campaign against human trafficking.

Among our performers, the main act for the evening was the 3 piece band Back Before Dawn (Becky Cox, Ben Harland and Dave Forsdyke).  They were supported by  emerging singer songwriter Tim Eveleigh, and – back by popular demand for her second solo performance for CCAT – the young and talented Sasha Fanthome.

Over £500 was raised for CCAT and many new members signed up, which is fantastic news for our growing numbers!  The next Anti-Slavery Day is 18th October 2015.  If you or someone you know would like to perform at the next event, please contact our team.  We’re always on the look out for fund raising ideas and talented event organisers, so if you think you could help, click here for details of how you could get involved.
