Third Croydon Conference, 12 November

On Thursday 12th November the Third Croydon Conference was held entitled ‘Prevention of Modern Slavery in Croydon’. Kevin Hyland the Anti Slavery Commissioner was the key note speaker.   About 160 people from all over South London attended. The feedback from those who attended has been very positive. A Croydon Advertiser reporter Polly Albany-Ward was there and Councillor Watson, Council Leader Newman and CCAT’s Peter Cox also gave presentations.  Polly has reported the Conference in the Advertiser; you can read her report at: www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/Council-forming-action-plan-stop-modern-slavery.

This gives excellent publicity for the work of CCAT.
